A Great Family Attraction

Come and experience the Rushmoor magic... just outside Louth and only a short drive from the Lincolnshire Coast
There's lots to do and see for everyone from 2 to 92!

Now in our eleventh year - having celebrated double figures last April - the park is looking very different to when it first opened in 2001. From a few rabbits and guinea pigs, poultry and a pond along with a couple of goats – we now have micro pigs – and the full sized ones – chickens, ducks and geese, a Jersey Cow, sheep, goats, turkeys, ponies, rats, mice, degus, gerbils, harvest mice – hawks and owls - and of course a large play area, bouncy castle, tea gardens and flower gardens. We are known for our child friendly hands on approach, good cups of tea and home made cakes - a day out that is both fun and relaxing.

Ponies and piglets, slides and bouncy castle - Hawks, and owls, goats and guinea pigs, ducks and bunnies, ride on toys and tractors, ice creams, tea gardens, flower gardens, pond walks, plants for sale and a tea room full of home made cakes and Lincolnshire foods. Hold and feed the animals - have fun and relax - almost everything is included in the entry price

Micro Pigs

Micro or mini pigs are real pigs – but in miniature. When born they will fit into a tea cup and at full grown size they are around the size of a spaniel – but chunkier.

We have 2 breeding pairs at Rushmoor and they will each have a litter during the course of the year – the litter size ranges from 6-10. Within 24 hours of birth they have ventured out of their straw to investigate their surroundings – and within a week they have decided to explore the park.

Watch out for them racing round chasing feathers or each other and generally squealing all the way home – in the best nursery rhyme tradition!

We do sell the piglets subject to the prospective purchasers being able to demonstrate they have appropriate housing and general facilities to care for the pigs – happy to give advice and guidance where necessary – please contact us if you would like to know more and we will send you a fact and information sheet so you can register your interest.

Just Sit Back, Relax and Watch the Children Play

Gayle from West Sussex says "I just wanted to write and say that we had an absolutely fantastic day, my little boy, Connor, thoroughly enjoyed himself and couldn't wait to get back to school and tell all his friends that he had a Harris Hawk and a Barn Owl land on him!

The lads were so knowledgeable and really took the time to answer all our questions whether it was about the new baby rats or the majestic European Eagle Owl, they made us feel very welcome and showed such a passion for their 'work' - we are sure to be back when we next get up to visit and just wish we had somewhere like Rushmoor a little closer to us!"

Chris from Lincoln says - : What a great day out we had today with our Grandchildren. it was far better than we ever expected and exceptional value for money.

Even though the day was dull with drizzle that did not stop the children from thoroughly enjoying themselves. A goat tried to climb in the hatchback of the car and my grandaughter wanted to take home a pony, horse and rabbits - just to name a few.

I was very impressed with all the staff, how good they were and knowledgeable and determined that the kids have a great day and take away happy memories. There is something for everyone and we enjoyed Rachel’s garden. I bought a boot load of plants.

Certainly be coming back. . A really great day out and one we shall all remember.

Hope you had a good Christmas and so did the animals. Knowing the caring staff at Rushmoor I am sure they were all well fed, watered and warm as toast plus full stockings from Santa.copyright Chris Pepper
